Peat-bog Rokytecká slať

This peat-bog covers an area of 104 ha at the height of 1073 to 1119 metres west of Modrava. It is a typical mountain-type peat-bog with 69 small lakes. Spruce trees, dwarf birches, Swiss mountain pines, sedge, mosses and other peat-bog plants growth here. Similary as other mountain and valley peat-bogs in the Šumava mountains, the peat-bog Rokytská slať is also a nature preserve.
